Hey I'm getting a new screen, my old Hyundai imagequest 1280x1024 5ms doesen't cut it anymore.
Mostly because of the workspace, it's to small, I need a widescreen.
Getting tired of moving things around in PS to fit the screen.

So it's got to be quick and have great color be wide and cheap.
This is what I've found so far: http://www.komplett.co.uk/k/ki.aspx?sku=331034
If you have any knowledge with this screen or have another suggestion please post.

Thanks :)

You already have a pretty good choice, the best I can recommend is from Scan's gaming range (http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Products.ASP?CatID=27&FilterCategories=486&Thumbnails=yes) 6-2ms response on all of them.

I can understand you wanting a widescreen, I have a 19" wide, and it's superb for gaming, films, and that sort of thing.

I can't notice any difference between my 2 Asus widescreen monitors refresh rate, ones 8ms and ones 5ms a, one 500:1 and the other 800:1 and thats only just noticable in dark areas.

So anything under 8ms I reckon is going to be all the same.

Well if you do gaming then get something at least with 8ms or under, although 5ms is best for gaming. Maybe you should get a 21" montior.

Why not just get another 19' and get dual screen going?

Hmm, yeah that's a possibility, allthough it might take up more deskspace wich I don't have to much of.
I think I will go for this Samsung 22" though, its quite cheap and I have found nothing negative about it so far.

It's realy not the 5ms that is my problem on the current screen it's the workspace.
I don't think my slow brain would notice the difference between 8, 5 or 2 ms. :D

Thanks
