heylo
i just installed Brother in Arms: Road to Hill 30 for the second time
the first time was cool, but i remember getting frustrated mostly during the second half. i think this was caused for two reasons
1)almost completing a mission but getting killed at the end, which then had to be done all over again (maybe just cause I suck)
2)accuracy of weapons, even with the sights up, are 10x worse than DOD source
but anywho, so far ive been having a fun time this second time around, playing it on EASY mode. it does offer new objectives and how to reach then, compared to other cliche ww2 single player games.
i played on LAN with my brother a few times, but never online multplayer. mostly because im a guy who likes teamwork, not a guy who controls an entire team (too much obligation)
Any opinion on Earned in Blood?
is it worth it (i read of a COOP mode which should be fun)
anyways, blah blah.
and to leave you with a funny picture

Only thing that I don't like about BIA is the MP and zoomed in sights.

DoD sources weapons suck. It takes skill to get used to the weapons in Brothers in arms. BIA's accuracy I like, much more realistic.

Well you have to get good! DoD... shouldn't even be mentioned BIA is 20 times better than DoD.

for accuracy? no
i just got back from a game. and its literally countless the number of times i have my crosshair or ironsight directly on the body) and nothing happens. especially when the AI is in their idle positions (hiding behind stuff, but can still see their heads)
ive never used any of these guns, so i cant account for reaslism, but still, if it is real, its just not fun.
what makes up for it is the versatile and unique gameplay. as well as the atmosphere the game creates
the first half of the game was the better half, which i guess may convince me enough (along with online reviews) to get Earned in Blood

I'd rather not hear anyone else talk about accuracy/inaccuracy or do any more wingeing about WW2 games till they've played Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory. (It's multiplayer, and was released in 2004, however don't expect grphics like HL2 as a result.);)
P.S. I haven't yet decided whether it's accurate or not, being more concerned by the fact you have to empty your magazine into a jerry at point blank before he dies.

Enemy Territory has solid, flawless gameplay, even if it's batshit insane.

[ET is] batshit insaneI'd love to know what you mean by that!

BTW, I'd been playing W:ET for about a year and 1/2, when I got so fed up of having to empty my magazine to kill someone that I decided to:
create a mod...improve engine...found Source engine...I find HaJ!...and left it to this mod:).
