How do I go about it, and do you know of any IRC plugin for FF? I know Opera has IRC built-in.

I have Chatzilla, but being the complete n00b that I am, I havn't a clue how to get on to "#hamandjam".
Help anyone?

OK, I don't know how Chatzilla works, but I'm guessing somewhere in the options you can select a server, there select GameSurge and Random EU Server then click connect or select. Once you've connected to GameSurge type /join #hamandjam you might want to create an account, you can do that here:http://www.gamesurge.net/createaccount/

If/when you create an account, you can store the auth line in your perform as well as channels you wish to join, i.e:
/authserv auth 'nick' 'password'
.//mode $me +x [this hides your IP/hostmask and will display as *@auth.user.gamesurge]
/join #channel
/join #channel
/join #channel
/join #channel
/join #channel

Its mostly for organising playtests so if we do invite people to join you'll know you've been chosen because you'll have an invite.

I see. Will you be doing that 48 hour testing before the release of the game, I don't think that many dev teams do that even though its mentioned on Valve's wiki.
