Hello Ham and Jam team

My name is DirtyRat and I am the Lead Developer for a mod called Mare Nostrum (http://www.marenostrumgame.com) we are developing for Red Orchestra. Mare Nostrum, like your mod focuses on pre-D-Day and focuses on the fighting in the Afrikafeldzug 41-43 between the VIII Army and Afrika Korps....we're aiming for a release in First Quarter 2007.

My Main enquiry besides extending the hand of friendship (perhaps we could share some resources) is to offer my services as a Voice Producer. I work in real life as a voice producer besides my gaming pashion and have worked on titles such as GTA, Mafia, Timesplitters and more recently Joint Task Force.

If you guys are in need of British, German, American etc. Professionally recorded and mastered voice recordings, I am keen to offer my services in this regard and I can also help to write the scripts if required.

Here is a link to download some of the files I have produced for Mare Nostrum for the british side, to give you guys an idea...we wanted Scottish voices in the main for the troops, so I personally did the voice acting:

Cheers guys and hope to speak to you soon :icon_thumbsup:

Very good quality sounding samples, but I don't know if it was just me, but some of the accents sounded semi American.

american :icon_wtf: , well I am a scot but with with a very slight scottish accent...i have to "put it on" for the more scottish vocals with taunts like "Bawheed!" etc.

Anyway thats just my voice, I can use Actors as well, although its a more time consuming process since I have to wait until they are booked for another project and then ask them a favour, as these guys normally get close to £200/hour.

i was trying to steer clear of the horrid "tea-sipping" brit voices used in a lot of other games...

Yeah don't. We just want normal accents not this crappy Dick Van Dyke stuff.
