I wanted my WW2 fix.

So I played DoD:S. I closed it feeling un-satisfied...the game just isn't as fun as it used to be anymore, and I barely feel like I'm playing a WW2 game. Then I realized how much I'm looking forward to this mod....so please, make it kick ass.

I wouldn't say I love DoD:S, but I can't / won't stop playing it just because it's not as good as it once was.
If that was the case, I would have given up on the series with the release of v1.0. Besides, as a rifle (Garand) player, the game's actually better now than it has been for years for my weapon of choice ;)

I tend to agree with the feeling on DOD source. Sure its better than other games but that IMO doesnt make it good. I am looking forward to HaJ. I just cant stomach DOD anymore it just makes me want to smash up my PC so for the sake of insurance premiums I only play when my clan needs me... I still play 1.3 happily. I just dont see it as a case of adapting anymore. It just isnt fun to me. I am feeling quietly positive about HaJ tho guys its looking great so far :)

I'm just waiting to play Ham and Jam whenever it comes out. Oh well Battlefield 2 and 2142 can keep me happy for a while. I would also reccomend releasing Ham and Jam before Halo 3 comes out. :P

My bro. bought HL2 a couple of days ago.
I like it. And I'm only up to the room filled knee-height with sewage.I actually don't like zombies or aliens, much less "zombines", oversize antlions, and other beastly creatures, but somehow, I like it.
It's probably because of:
1)The physics,
2)High detail graphics,
3)Interesting storyline,
4)And I'll leave alyx out of it, because you can't reply to her.

How aobut Call of Duty 2 or 3, or even Medal of Honor. Day of Defeat source is an excellent game, sure it has its flaws but Its still enjoyable to play.

I'm not old enough to appreciate the enthusiasm generated by the TF successor, but I can see that graphically it looks rather good.

Portal? New and innovative, two things I'm always partial to.
Plus they say it integrates with the HL storyline, which sounds very promising.

As for Ep2... as the second part of HL3, I think I'd get it simply to find out what happens, let alone for the gameplay/scenery/action/Dodge Charger!
