Hey, just another fan. lookin good :D

"Historically accurate missions coupled with careful balance between realistic and enjoyable gameplay"

Was just wondering, can you build off this please? What will this balance be like? What realistic features will be in there and how will you be implementing the fun factor (enjoyable gameplay)? On a realistic note - will you be adding iron sights? How about a stamina bar?

Not trying to be harsh here so don't take it that way - What will H&J have that other mods haven't? For it to do well it will need something fresh. Still, playing as the Brits for once is relatively new to me :)

Cheers, XP

Realism in the sense that weapons will reflect their real-life counterparts, the SMG's are accurate up to a certain distance and beyond there become ineffective (damage reduction) rather than just increasing the cone of fire. You can't bunny hop across the map, proning gives you a more stable stance, but you can't move very well.

Things to seperate HaJ from the rest, like you said Brits and thus things pre day, you don't see many Dunkirk maps or Norweigan Commando raids. A teamplay aspect is vital to suceed, you can stay back and frag, but with no indicator of personal K/D its rather pointless for stat whores. As well as some realistic locations, mainly open outdoor combat.

Realism shouldn't be used as a singular term. Its just far too broad. There's aesthetic realism, how authentic the maps, the artwork, the sound, et al are. There's functional realism, how the gameplay itself operates compared to its actual counterparts, and the ease of use stemming from the control system. And there's narrative realism, how believable situations are, how aware the player is that he's playing a game, how in control the player feels, and, if singleplayer, how the storyline unfolds.

Essentially, how it looks, how it feels, and how it plays.
