I find many or most games do this, and this is no attack on the team what so ever, but it simply looks bad having the gun facing to the left like that. I have noticed this in many fps games ... it just doesnt feel like your holding the gun. Imagine for a second you are holding a gun AIMING it towards the center of your - i would like to say screen - eyesight, what it would look like ... nothing like this - if they are in the same posistion just pointing towards the crosshair, but are held straight so that you can only see a glimpse of the side of the gun, but enough to appreciate the detail, that is a good model. Held up higher rather than lower is even better. I would LOVE to see the weapons in this game held that way, it would be uniqe and great and people would love it. If you held a gun that way in real life and fired you would sureley break your wrist. I would love to post an example but i have none, my old cs models are gone and you should sureley know what i mean. The other is simply a blood suggestion, darken it. I noticed playing BG that it is too light-coloured, and for some reason just doesn't fit. I want this mod to be the best it can be very much, and i think this would contribute greatly to the awesome mod that will be Ham and Jam.

It would be better to just have togglable iron sights than to have the model constantly sit in the shouldered position.

I like the blood sprite. Especially after DoD 1.6, I find the blood really hard to see in the source games. The blood in H&J is nice and visible, which is good. It's nice to know that your bullets are hitting what you are aiming at.

All i mean is, if you be a dickhead for a minute sitting at ur comp and hold an invisible gun like in so many fps games, it looks and feel ridiculous, we need a proper hold on the gun damnit, with the gun pointing forward!

Personally, I do not see much of a need to worry about the v_model origins... you can always just reorigin them unless you happen to play in a competitive environment in which you are restricted to defaults only, at which point I don't think the look of the v_models is what's really important...

Realistically the last thing your looking at is your gun. I dont care if its viewable or not, as long as there is sound whenever I pull the trigger on that Bren, and I can see wtf its hitting at, by god im good. I like seeing the gun, but honestly your not looking at your gun in combat wondering if the dev team purposly screwed up on the sprites to reload the thing.
