I do have a video clip but after some dialogue we decided not to release it at his time as it might bias peoples opinions as its has a lot of unfinished content.

Hopefully the next playtest I'll be able to make some vids from.

frankly i don't think we'll be seeing a video up until release.

making a video when things are still unfinalized would just be diverting attention.

indeed id rather see a quicker release than a video i always think there a waste of time anyway

btw nice screens, cant wait to play this one

Videos make for bad publicity to attract new fans. People like to see things instantly, so me posting 6 H&J screenshots on Planet Half-Life will instantly be viewed by thousands, while a link to a video clip will be largely ignored by 50% of those people, becuase they don't want to take the time to see it, especially a WW2 mod (they won't really care that it's Commonwealth, people just jump to conclusions).

The only video that i think we would release is if we thought a map was done. then went in spec mode.

Panoramic views of maps are becoming fairly popular by making a .mov (then the viewer can move it around as s/he pleases). Might be a nice little treat for the fans :)

72% of statistics are made up on the spot.

I'm the news director of PHL, I think I know what the majority of my viewers look at, else I'd just post everything and all links that end up in my inbox. Besides, how do you know I'm not that other 28%? :p

....i really hope you understand that was a joke :P because he was giving a statistic himself that probably was made up :P

I thought it was "82.65% of all statistics are made up"

;-)

Chief-Phillips speaks wise words.
