Hope you don't mind if I recommend a few maps that cold have some potential in this game.

1. A D-Day map. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the Canadians and British had a beach all to themselves.

2. Possibility a remake of donner, except with the original 1.3 textures and way-points.

3. A possible remake of the map flaise

Thats all I can think of, as of right now, but I'm sure that more will come as I am pondering upon it.

lol we had three, June, Sword and Gold. All the US had were Utah and Omaha ;)

The Canadian's had Juno. Sword and Gold were left for the Brits.

Yeah but what you actually said (see below) implied that the Canadians and Brits only had one beach ;)

Honestly, I meant one for each of the forces. Little did I know. The Birts had two.

Back on topic.
Can you please not make colour'd maps. Such as orange.

I would like to see some battles Canadians fought in.

Battle of Caen.
Battle of Ortona.
Invasion of Sicily.
Rhineland Campaign.
Juno Beach.
Falaise Gap.

Just some to name. It pisses me off that game developers never include Canadians(COD3 did but that game sucked.), we did play a part in the war as well!

I wouldn't worry too much about the Canadians, they will be taking a prominent role in the fighting and killing and winning.

I remember having a rather heated argument with Fuzzdad about dod_falaise and the fact it was a US Airborne map in DoD despite the fact that the Polish/Candians fought there and the US Airborne troops had been withdrawn back to England weeks previous. Nearest US units were over 80 miles away. :D

wow, 80 miles away and we still kicked the Germans' asses. You've gotta admit the USA is pretty amazing.

anyway, back to Canadians, why not the Dieppe Raid? Tho' a complete disaster, did definitely involve Canadian troops. I think if you look into the plan for the raid, you can see it wouldn't simply be another d-day landing style map.
