No, you need at least Half-Life2 : Death match which I think comes with the most basic of the HL2 packages.

Infact, you have to have the HL2DM + Source SDK Base which comes with any Source game, if you got HL2DM free on a Steam offer, it won't work.

We currently run the Ep1 engine, but once we decide to use the Ep2 engine, you will need just one Source game and doesn't matter what it is. Mind you, this might be post-release.

any Source engine game such as Counter-Strike: Source, Half-Life 2, TFC2 or Day of Defeat: Source should work true ?

tbh, even if you have to purchase a HL game to play Ham and Jam, it will be worth it :)

What game do i have to buy to play Sven Co-op ? Half-life normal one ? or Half-life sourcenew one? they are the same price and i dont know please help

sven co-op needs HL1.

I think that sven coop made a release for hl2 under a different name.

ah, its unreleased apparently. That's surprising, actually, since it was a few years back that I heard about this.
