When browsing deviantart.com, I came across some excellent WWII military vehicle models by FrZnChAoS (see http://frznchaos.deviantart.com/gallery/).

I have contacted him regarding Day of Defeat: Source (which he has heard about but does not play) and asked if it would be possible to import his models into DoDS. He has no objections to this suggestion and a member of the DoDS community (I am am not a mapper nor a modeller) is now pursuing the matter.

It occurs to me that some of his models might fit in very well with Ham and Jam. I have frznchaos' contact details. Please pm me if you think his stuff could be used in H&J and you could adapt his models. I will put you in contact with him.

The only technical question he posed re the HL engine was 'will our engine buckle at 10k triangles a pop'.

Thats nice work.
I guess 10k triangles is ok but it might depend on the map.
(I'm no mapper so I can't say for shure though.)

Also we do have a lot of models ourselves, not shure we need any more atm.
But we should keep him in mind.
Thanks

His "M3A1 Halftrack Textured" model is the exact same model as the 1944 d-day game's model... So maybe he's already working for them (or it was just a gift from him, or...).

They look great, but as SolidR said, the look a lot like eachother so he might be working for them.
